What the forms send

Three forms on this site take your details: the quote request, the wedding availability check, and the contact form.

The quote request sends your first and last name, email, phone, event date, event type, start and end time, guest count, venue name, venue city and state, how you found us, the services and enhancements you tick, and anything you write in the vision box. The service and enhancement picks, and the package you were reading if you came from a package button, are written into that same comments box when you press send.

The availability check sends your first and last name, email, phone, event date, city and state, with the event type set by the page you are on.

The contact form sends your name, email, your question, and your phone number if you add one. The phone field has no separate slot in the system that receives it, so we put it at the top of your message as "Phone:" instead.

Where it goes

The forms post straight from your browser to jwooentplanning.com, the DJ Event Planner booking and planning system we run the business on.

Your enquiry becomes a lead in that system, and that is where we read it, reply to it and plan from it.

The robot check

Each of the three form pages carries Google reCAPTCHA, the tick box next to the send button.

It is there to keep automated spam off the forms. Google may look at your browser and how you interact with the page to decide whether you are a person, under Google's own privacy terms.

When the check has loaded, your browser asks for the tick before it lets the form send. If the check cannot load, the form still sends. The booking system that receives the form does not check the tick.

How we measure visits

The live site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It runs on jwooentertainment.com only.

We also record when someone sends a form, so we know which pages lead to enquiries.

This tells us how the site is used. It is not how we identify you; your name and details reach us from the form you filled in.

Ads and how we know a click arrived

If you reach us from a Google ad, the link can carry a click identifier and campaign tags in the web address.

Your browser holds those for the tab you are in. We set no cookie for them and nothing is kept once you close the tab. Analytics does receive the page address you arrived on, which can include those tags, as part of counting the visit.

Beyond that page address, they leave your browser in one other place: inside a form you chose to send, on a line at the end of the comments box. That line tells us the enquiry came from an ad.

Other services we link to

Our consultation call link opens Calendly, which is not us. Booking a time there is covered by Calendly's own terms and privacy notice.

The forms are handled by DJ Event Planner at jwooentplanning.com, and the robot check is Google's. Each of those companies handles what it receives under its own terms.

Links to our social profiles work the same way once you leave this site.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what you sent, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it.

Email jwooentertainmentco@gmail.com and tell us the name and email you used, so we can find the right enquiry.

If you would rather not use a form at all, call or email us and we will take the details that way.
